Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a powerful, evidence-based psychotherapy approach that enables individuals to process and heal from distressing memories, emotional pain, and trauma-related symptoms such as anxiety and OCD.
This therapeutic method uses bilateral stimulation—often through guided eye movements—to help the brain reprocess traumatic memories, alleviating emotional distress and fostering cognitive restructuring.

How is Brainspotting Conducted?
In a brainspotting session, I will guide your eye movements to locate “brainspots” - a particular spot in your visual field that correlates with emotional or somatic activation.
These spots are identified by observing physiological and emotional reactions such as blinking, twitching, or shifts in breathing. Once identified, these points become the focus for processing trauma, allowing your brain and body to process what arises—without needing to "figure it out" through words alone.
This process bypasses the thinking mind and taps into your brain’s innate ability to heal itself from the inside out (helping to unearth buried memories and emotions).
